St. Mary’s Helping Hands Funeral Reception Ministry
In order to celebrate the life of your deceased loved one, our ministry insures a care free reception for your family and friends. This ministry will set up tables and chairs for up to 500 guests. Tables will be covered with table clothes and fresh flowers in vases for the buffet reception. The family will provide food either by a catering service or by family and friends. After the reception we will be responsible for the cleaning. If you are interested in joining our team please call Alicia Espinosa (448-0184).
Ministry to the Sick
Our members are trained to take the Eucharist to sick and homebound parishioners, and to visit church members in the area hospitals or nursing homes. Rewards are yours as you make new friends. Training is provided. Please contact Esther Henriksen (449-8176), Nan Carter (446-4762), or Trini Goutenegre (410-7771).
Baptism Preparation
We welcome interested Catholics who will assist in the preparation and celebration with parents and godparents in the baptism of their infants and children. Training is provided. Please contact Karla Kennedy (446-1881).
